MY BOSS IS A PATRIOT AWARD GIVEN

This is the photo of an awards ceremony taken June 9, 2005, at the J.E.B. Stuart Elementary School, Richmond, VA. Captain Andréa Stewart, Wing Military Equal Opportunity Officer, 192nd Fighter Wing, VA Air National Guard, and a 2nd grade teacher at the school was honoring her boss, Mrs. Iris Page, the school's principal. Capt. Stewart' s ability to participate in the Air National Guard for over 16 years, was facilitated by Mrs. Page. Colonel Tom Stephen, Chair of the Central VA ESGR committee, represented ESGR. Captain Mark Widener, the 192nd FW Executive Officer and Major David Biggs, the Wing's Logistics Readiness Officer represented the VA Air National Guard. Angie Wade, the 192nd's Family Readiness Coordinator was also in attendance. The award ceremony was conducted during a school faculty meeting and the Assistant Superintendent of The Richmond Public School Board, Dr. Ronald Carey was also on hand to congratulate Mrs. Page.
